Artstor is a non-profit initiative with a mission to use digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching, and learning in the arts and associated fields. Initiated by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in 2001, Artstor has been an independent nonprofit organization since 2003 and a live service since July 2004.
About the Digital Library
The Digital Library provides more than 1.6 million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences with an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. Our community-built collections comprise contributions from outstanding international museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, and artists and artists’ estates. Learn more.
